Trick or Treat

Our Haunting festivities started on Thursday

Zoie had her preschool Halloween Party.

Halloween is a favorite for me, so how could I not sign up to be a mommy helper for the party

We helped the kids decorate “Haunted Houses”

Daddy was in town, YEAH!


We had our own little pumpkin night before daddy had to leave

Zoie wanted to paint her pumpkin,
after helping her dad gut his she was done

Zoie told Olivia that painting was the only way to do a pumpkin

so while the boys carved the girls painted

you wouldn't think getting a picture of 5 children would be so hard

The Debate

Everyone is always saying

 Zoie looks just like you Lindsay

and Bonnie looks just like Haydn

I've always thought my two girls look the same

I was going through some old pictures of Zoie

I found one of her at 11 months old

the picture of Bonnie was taken when she was 10 months old

so the question is do they look alike or not?



Zoie had her first fieldtrip with her preschool.

We took a “hayride” to a carrot field saw some funky carrots,

Zoie saved her carrots and feed some

HUNGRY lama’s

(fun fact they eat them whole, no bites)

 

Next stop the PUMPKIN PATCH

Zoie enjoyed jumping over all the rows of pumpkins searching for the perfect

pumpkin

 

Snack time

Slides, train rides, corn mazes, corn pit and PIG races

are a few of the other festivities we enjoyed

I will never give up,

one day i will get the perfect picture of my girls

There really isn’t anything like having a “creature of the night” jump out at you from a dark corner

Last Soccer Game

It was so fun to watch Zoie play soccer

she loved her team and her coach

   

 Bonnie was happy as long as she had a soccer ball

We did have some tears the last game, 

well lets be honest we had tears every game

GIRLS!  

It wouldn't be a soccer game if we didn't
have someone playing in the net

Weekend Away, yes please :)

Between Haydn’s trips to Indianapolis and Baltimore he fit in a quick weekend to

Chicago with his wifey.. 

 We love Chicago it was so fun to get away with Haydn

Miracle Mile

Oh Yeah we had to make a stop at the chocolate factory.
I don’t enjoy chocolate but I did like the shake Haydn ordered

A park that we walked trough to get to the pier

We couldn’t pass up Oktoberfest going on inside a tent on the pier, I’m just bummed I didn’t get a picture of the fantastic German band

We took a water taxi from the Pier to the Field Museum. Very Cool !

Haydn’s favorite thing was the wax toy making machine. The smell brought back memories of walking though Hogle Zoo as a kid
