Blue Horizons:

this was Zoie's favorite show

it features a princess, a dolphin prince

along with some other mythical creatures

Bonnie was such a good sport,

just chilled like this for all of the shows

It wouldn't be us if we didn't throw in some crazy face pictures

she loved seeing the polar bears

coming from a state full of snow all winter,

it's easy to forget that's it's something kids are so fascinated with

We go all the way to Seaworld and my girls pick

Advent calendar

I made this the first year we were married I have always enjoyed it

but watching Zoie's excitment choosing the daily ornament is one of my favorite
 moments in the morning

 

 I’m not a fancy tree girl in this house you will find a tree full of diverse ornaments.

Every year we all choose our own, I’m sure you can guess what ornament belongs to the man of the household

Elf on a Shelf

We received this gift from a very close family friend

it is quickly becoming a FAVORITE!

Winter Showcase

Zoie's dance studio had a winter showcase:

so fun!

Zoie was fantastic,

I wasn't sure if she would just stand there and stare at all the people or if she would dance....

 i should have known, she danced her little heart out..

 i was one very proud mama

because i was recording the dance so i didnt want to mess up anything.. HA HA!

to bad my recording didnt work, HEARTBREAKING!!

Dang Wind!

That was my first thought when at 2am the gusts were rattling my home..

Then we lost power around 5am (if only that would have been the worst)

As I rolled out of bed to get Zoie ready for school in our chilly house I looked outside and saw the damage around me, neighbors fences gone, shingles all over the yard, trees snapped in half

and a street lamp post in my front yard..

Here are a few photos that I snapped before I was almost lifted off to OZ

funny how rocky mtn power kept telling me to avoid the open wires at the bottom..

REALLY? are people that dumb?

All we had was some cosmetic damage, 

again we were so lucky
however the noise that comes with siding being torn from your home...
TERRIFYING!

Thanksgiving

 We gathered with the Thompson clan this year for our GIGANTIC feast…
 we are so lucky to have a great family full of fantastic cooks and the creativity they have astonishes me.

 
Grateful for my in-laws

 Grateful to have older cousins willing to help out with my little ones

Grateful i have a family that can laugh with me at my melted banana cream pie

so sad, but very tasty

(so what if it had to be eaten with a straw)

Grateful to have these two little girls in my life
they make me crazy but i couldnt love them more

Grateful for my hubby who makes me laugh every single day

 

 

Birthday Bash!!

We had a little party to celebrate Bonnie's 1st birthday

it's amazing how much they change in one year

She was not a fan of the flame on the candle, or the frosting

however she loved the cake

Bonnie was spoiled by everyone

Zoie was very helpful at opening the packages 

Thank you to everyone that came and for all of the gifts

we are so lucky to have a wonderful family
